Thalicha Dosai/Seasoned dosa

     This is our country style dosa...which we use to do in 2nd or 3rd day batter...but i like it with fresh batter.simply temper the batter and do dosa like regular dosa.i added some shredded carrots to the batter.All u need ...

Dosa batter    2 cups
To temper
  1. Oil    1-2 tsp
  2. Mustard seeds    1/2 tsp
  3. chana dal    1and 1/2 tsp
  4. Green chilli    2 no.(finely chopped)
  5. ginger     2 tsp(finely chopped)
  6. hing       1/4 tsp
  7. Onion   1 medium(finely chopped)
  8. Curry leaves     few
  9. Coriander leaves     some 
Heat oil in a seasoning pan,add all the tempering ingredients one by one and fry till onion turns color.

then add the seasoning to the batter and mix well.
Heat a griddle,pour a ladle of batter and spread in circular motion,make it little thick.
Add oil all around the dosa,after one minute flip the dosa and cook till done.
Thats the thalitha dosai is ready to serve hot.
No side dish required,simply idly podi is enough.
