Dahi Puri Chaat | Easy Dahi Chaat With Step by Step Photos. Chaat with dahi/yogurt is my most favorite and I love chaat chutneys and yogurt combo a lot. I love to add couple of spoons of plain yogurt and Sweet Chutney in my Soup, Salad or in Yellow peas Masala.

 Dahi Chaat is a simple and mouth watering chaat, using Golgappa, Curd & Chaat Chutneys combo. Crispy Puris filled with spiced potato, yogurt and chaat chutneys, sure an addictive and filling snack. Initially, I love to eat chaats at Chaat Shops and restaurants but now I am completely happy with my recipes and simply enjoy the homemade chaats. It only needs some patience and extra time and effort and the result is everyone's favorite healthy fresh homemade chaats.

Also in shops, sometimes they add more spicy chutney and less sweet chutney and in some shops they add color to tamarind chutney and sometimes the yogurt in Dahi chaat will be sour and too much than puris and other ingredients.

But, when we make them at home, everything is freshly prepared and we can adjust the amount of chutneys or other ingredients more or less ingredients to our choice. In this Dahi Chat I used Homemade Puri/Golgappa, Yogurt, & Chaat Chutneys. I made this dahi puri and clicked 20 minutes before my kids arrival time. That's why i added less chutneys and yogurt but you can add more or less to your preference.

Serves 2

Ingredients
  1. Puris/Golgappa   10 no.s
  2. Boiled and diced Potato   1/3cup
  3. Green Chutney   2 tbsp or as needed
  4. Tamarind Sweet Chutney   3-4 tbsp or as needed
  5. Yogurt/Fresh Curd  1/2 cup(beaten)
  6. Sugar  1/4 tsp
  7. Salt   to taste
  8. Fine Sev   1/4 cup or as needed
  9. Cilantro  few finely chopped
  10. Onion  2 tbs(finely chopped)
Method
First boil 2 small potato and peel the skin and dice into small cubes.
Then take yogurt/curd in a bowl add salt, sugar and beat well.
Take a serving plate, arrange Puris poke in the center and add some potato pieces.
Then to it add some finely chopped onion, then add chaat chutneys and yogurt.
Finally garnish with some generous sev and finely chopped cilantro.
That's it..Delicious Dahi Puri Chaat ready. Serve Immediately.
Notes:
You can also add some cooked channa/chickpeas or whole moong dal to the puris.
Also sprinkle some chaat masala and chilli powder over the dahi chaat for extra spiciness and taste.
I used Dates Tamarind Chutney(Tamarind Chutney with Dates & Jaggery)
