This recipe was introduced to me by my neighbor sister in India from whom I learnt to make Restaurant Style Aloo Gobi, Channa Masala, Potato Curry etc. She did graduation in Home Science and very much interested in cooking multi cuisine recipes. I make this Akki Roti often at home and thought I have shared this recipe during my initial blogging days but I didn't. Akki Roti Recipe
Now with much improved technology and internet usage we can learn and develop knowledge about our interested topic or anything,  but Seventeen years back when there was not much internet facility like now or we don't have that facility in our home she is my only source of knowledge about cooking other cuisines. Though my Mom is my best cook & teacher she doesn't know beyond south Indian or our tamil recipes. Only through our neighbors we used learn and try different recipes. Then and now we are blessed with good hearted neighbors who love and support us like their own family. We don't have good relatives but instead theres very good people around us. Now off to the recipe..

You can also add grated carrot and cabbage to the roti for a more healthier version.
Rotis are soft when it is served hot/warm.
I have made this Akki Roti with regular rice flour & idliyappam flour too. Both rotis were same and tasted soft.
