Stir Fried Spaghetti Recipe
Looking for something spicy, vegan, simple and quick meal, then you should try this Stir Fried Spaghetti. I like Pasta / Spaghetti a lot. More than the sauce based pasta, i love this kind of stir fried Pasta. It is simple without much spices, sauce and also i used whole grain spaghetti so tasty and equally healthy too. I also cook stir fried pasta with some Indian spices too.
On a lazy afternoon, i was craving for some savory dish, at the same was not in a mood to cook one pot meal as its only for me. Then after a long pause I decided to cook spicy Pasta for me. Then i remember about the colored pepper in the fridge and used it in my pasta. To the same recipe, you can also add some thinly stripped carrots, cabbage and any desired vegetable. But this simple garlic and pepper flavored shpagetti with tri colored pepper turned out so flavorful, yummy and satisfying.

Stir Fried SpaghettiIngredients
  1. Spaghetti/Pasta  4 oz / 100gm (I used 100% whole grain spaghetti)
  2. Onion   1 medium (thinly sliced)
  3. Bell Pepper - red,yellow,green   1/4 cup each(thinly sliced)
  4. Minced Garlic   1 tbsp
  5. Olive Oil   2 tbsp
  6. Chilli Flakes   to taste
  7. Salt and Pepper   to taste
  8. Sugar   1/4 tsp
  9. Soy sauce   1/2 tsp(i skipped)
  10. Cilantro    for garnishing
Method
  • Cook Spaghetti/Pasta as per the package instruction. Based on the spaghetti type the cooking time may vary. So always refer the package instructions to cook spaghetti or pasta.
  • After cooking, drain it using colander and wash in running cold water and drain well and keep aside.
  • Then heat oil in a pan, when it is hot add minced garlic and chilli flakes fry well and add sliced onions and saute for 1-2 minutes.
  • And then add thinly sliced colored pepper and saute for a minute.
  • After that add the cooked spaghetti, salt, sugar, pepper, soy sauce(if using) and stir fry for a minute.
  • Lastly add some finely chopped cilantro or spring onions and switch off the stove.
  • That's it..Yummy Stir Fried Spaghetti ready. Serve Hot!
Notes:
To the same recipe add any desired vegetables, make sure that u slice them thinly.
