Vegetable Rava Biryani / Rava Biryani - Easy & Quick One Pot Meal!

Today's Recipe is one easy & quick one pot meal with more satisfying taste & flavor - Vegetable Rava Biryani. Rava Upma is one such recipe which is not liked by most of the people, particularly men. Mr.V also hate Rava upma and never allow to me to cook it for him, i make it only for me and my kids. Upma is one of my fav breakfast/dinner menu. During my school days i even ask my mom to pack upma for my lunch box with sugar. I just love upma with sugar and plain yogurt.

Today's recipe is interesting and delicious everyone's favorite Biryani using Vermicelli. I love vermicelli, its so easy and cok so fast. And also you can make many variety of recipes with this vermicelli and have experimented few recipes with vermicelli like, Tomato Rice Vermicelli Pulao, Vermicelli Broccoli Biryani, Garlic Methi Mutter Vermicelli. This biryani is also one of my favorite vermicelli recipe which I have already posted and few days took pics to update my archived post. But i couldn't upload any pics to that post, dunno the reason. As its one of the Hit post i don't want to delete it, so today am sharing as a new post with new pics. But this time didn't took step wise pics will update it later. Mix Veg Paratha / Mixed Vegetable Paneer Paratha / Mixed Veg Stuffed Paratha - Kids Lunch Box Recipe!

During my Knee treatment i was not able to walk, cook or do any work by own, that time H managed to cook and took care of me n my kids. But sometimes he wasn't able to cook due to his work pressure and  that time we have managed with some bread, fruits & with some ready stuffs like frozen parathas n store bought idli/dosa batter etc. Once He bought two packets of Haldiram's Frozen parathas - Gobi Paratha & Mix Vef Paratha. Both Parathas tasted so good and i liked the mixed Veg Paratha. Its a combo of mixed vegetables - aloo, gobi, peas, carrots and with Paneer. I had already posted a similar recipe but without potato/aloo and cauliflower but with capsicum and cabbage. That;s also one of my kids' fav recipe, check out the link for Veg Paneer Chapathi Roll.

Vegetable Whole Grain Pasta / Vegetable Penne Pasta

For the Day 3 of Blogging Marathon Under the theme "Whole Grain Dishes" I am going to share an interesting and Delicious Penne Pasta(whole grain) recipe. This is the slightly adapted from RachaelRay's Summer Vegetable Pasta recipe. Few weeks back i bought Italian style Breadcrumbs from Walmart to fry Salmon for my kids. Other than that i dunno what to do with the bread crumbs, i simply used to make Oven Roasted Broccoli. When i saw this pasta recipe @ rachaelraysmag.com i was so much attracted as the recipe calls for Italian style bread crumbs, so without second thought i bookmarked it and tried few days back for my breakfast. I tweaked the recipe little as i lack zucchini, I used Mixed vegetable and also substituted basil with Parsley. The result was awesome, pasta without any sauce or blend if Indian Masala, simply sauteing with garlic, vegs n finally with the touch of Italian style breadcrumbs...very tasty n flavorful one...Generally i don't like cheese so i avoided that also...overall it was a super healthy n tasty breakfast. Great enough to kick starts one's day,do give it a try n let me know h it turned out to you....Now to the recipe...

Mixed Veg Brown Rice Tawa Pulao

Happy to do the Blogging Marathon # 14 again with those lovely group of friends and for this edition I chosen the theme "Whole Grain Dishes" for all seven days. So stay tuned for more healthy, wholesome and Tasty Dishes for the following seven days. I was so much attracted to the Dosa Theme but i already have few Dosa Varieties and this "Whole Grain Dishes" suits well to my "Fiber Rich Foods" event so i can link to My own event also :)
For the past 15 days, i was following some diet plan & workout and today when i checked my weight i lost 1.2lb, that sounds great na. Yes, its fine for me i don't want to be slim but want to maintain BMI so i am happy with this result and would like to continue the same. I completely stopped the intake of white rice and replaced with Brown Rice for lunch only. Instead of having plain brown rice with curry n Poriyal I tried this Tawa Pulao with more mixed vegs. This is very easy and filling recipe. I had this Tawa Puloa with cucumber raita n Cabbage bell pepper stir fry...so My lunch was so delicious n satisfying. Now to the recipe...
