Mango Popsicle Recipe | Easy Fruit Popsicle | Mango Summer Recipe Ideas!

Mango Popsicle Recipe
Today I am here with an another easy, yummy kids friendly summer treat recipe, Mango Popsicle. I love mangoes in any form and if it is a chilled treat like Mango Milkshake, Mango Lassi, Mango Kulfi or Mango popsicle is my most favorite of all. I have already shared the Mango Kulfi/Mango creamsicle recipe and this time tried simple fruit popsicle with mango puree. This popsicle also doesn't require more ingredients just 2 or 3 ingredients is needed to make Mango Popsicle. Nothing can beat the homemade fresh fruit popsicle.
Recipe is simple to make but I find it hard to take pictures of this Mango popsicle. It started melting soon, no matter temperature is hot or cold. I have seen many popsicle pictures showing nice and smooth texture of popsicle but I couldn't able to click one like that. May be next time will try to present fruit pop with neat pictures. Now off to the recipe...

Mango Popsicle
Mango Popsicle Recipe
Prep Time : 10-15 minutes | Rest Time : 6-12 hours
Makes 4 popsicle
Ingredients
  1. Mango Puree  1 and 1/2 cup(fresh or canned)
  2. Simple Syrup   2 tbsp or taste
  3. Lime or Lemon Juice  1 tsp
  4. Ice Pop Sticks   4
Method
  • For Simple Syrup - Heat 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup sugar, stirring until sugar dissolves and boil. And use this simple syrup to make popsicle, lemonade, fresh fruit juice and as needed. You can refrigerate simple syrup for up to month.
  • Combine mango puree and simple syrup in a medium bowl.
  • To the Puree add lime or lemon juice to taste.
  • If you have ice-pop molds, fill them, leaving some room at the top to allow for expansion, set the lids in place and insert the sticks through the holes.
  • If you don't have molds, fill small paper cups or empty yogurt tubs about 3/4 full, stretch plastic wrap or foil across the top and make a small slit to insert sticks.
  • Freeze until firmly set, 4 to 6 hours. To remove the pops, first remove the lids or wrap, rinse the outside of the molds under warm water first.
  • Then squeeze the sides of the molds, to dislodge the pop and enjoy!
Notes:
Instead of simple syrup you can also add sugar but make sure the sugar is dissolved completely.
