Melon Mango Popsicles
Hi friends and readers, Hope you are doing great and everything is fine from my end too. Due to some reason I took short break and happy to be back.
Fruit popsicles are the best refreshing and yummy treat to enjoy anytime and that too during hot sunny days. I love to make popsicles with different fresh fruit juices and this time tried it with 2 fruits combo, Watermelon and Mango. Both Mango and watermelon are summer/seasonal fruits and making popsicle with it is a must try. The combo turned out great and we all loved it a lot. This watermelon Mango Popsicles was lying in my draft for long time, now it is time to clear my drafts so that I will cook and click new more interesting recipes.

Melon Mango Popsicles
Watermelon Mango Popsicle
Prep Time : 15 minutes | Cook Time : nil
Resting Time : minimum 6-8 hrs
Makes  8 popsicles
Ingredients
  1. Watermelon  2.5 cups cut watermelon chunks
  2. Mango Puree  2 cups
  3. Lemon Juice  1 tbsp
  4. Sugar or Simple Syrup or Honey  1 tbsp or to taste
Method
  • Blend watermelon chunks(seeds removed or seedless melon) into a smooth puree.
  • In a medium size mixing bowl, add watermelon puree, 1/2 tbsp lemon juice and 1/2 tbsp sugar or syrup, stir well.
  • In another bowl, add mango puree and remaining 1/2 tbsp lemon juice and sugar, mix well.
  • If you have ice-pop molds, fill half of them with watermelon juice and close the mold with foil paper and freeze for 2-3 hours.
  • After the watermelon layer has set, fill the mold with mango juice, leaving some room at the top to allow for expansion, 
  • set the lids in place or insert the sticks through the holes.
  • Freeze until firmly set, 4 to 6 hours. To remove the pops, first remove the lids or wrap, rinse the outside of the molds under warm water first. 
  • Then squeeze the sides of the molds, to dislodge the pop and enjoy!
