Hi all, Hope You had a Splendid Weekend and wishing u all a great week ahead. This weekend was very pleasing one. It snowed here on both Saturday n Sunday, we really enjoyed watching it. Our place was in full white n peace, my kids played in the yard for long time n now caught with cold n cough :(
Now coming to the topic, after the grand success of Show Me your HITS event series # 1, I am here with the series # 2 ~ Fiber Rich Foods. For the first Month, i done it with general theme " Healthy Delights" but this month i narrowed it to "Fiber Rich Foods" . The importance of consuming Fiber Rich Foods are lots n lots, just click Here n Here to know the health facts about it.
The main reason behind this was, last week i went for my Annual Health Checkup and the result wan't good this time. Me found to be Anaemic, less blood count, deficiency of Vitamin D & B12. And also my good choesterol was low and Triglycerides were high. Dr. advised to take supplements n shots for deficiency and suggested to take Fiber Rich foods, Weekly 150 minutes workout.
These Fiber rich foods are best to take care of our numerous common health issues. These also helps to burn our excess body fat and thus helps to be Fit n Active. So i thought of including this to my event and could ask help from my fellow bloggers to share healthy recipes which are rich in fiber and low in Fat. Not only for me its very good to all for to stay healthy n Fit.
So now i would like to list some of the ingredients which are rich in dietary fiber ...

- You can also pick the ingredients from the above list and i Challenge you for the use of 3 ingredients in one recipe. Say for eg, Almond Apple Banana Shake, Cabbage Peas Paratha, Mixed Beans Curry, the ideas are many, put your innovative Caps and start thinking n come up with your HITS !
- Only Vegetarian entries are acceptes, Eggs are allowed in Baking but eggless/replacer is appreciated.
